Visitor's Policy

 RHS Visitor Policy

 

ALL CAMPUS VISITORS MUST

  • Request an appointment for a visitation date and time from the office staff after entering the school office.
  • Complete a visitor’s permit and obtain the principal/designee’s approval before proceeding to the classroom.
  • Sign in the Visitors On Campus Log Book at the front door of the A-Building and report to the Main office.
  • Determine the classroom activity you are observing and keep the classroom observation time and frequency reasonable.
  • Report to the Counseling office to request an appointment with the teacher(s) and/or principal/designee after the classroom visit, if needed. Give the date and time requested with the request, if possible.
  • Return the visitor’s permit to the campus aide at the front door before leaving the campus.
  • Sign out in the Visitors on Campus Log Book before leaving the campus.

 

SOME IMPORTANT RULES FOR VISITORS:

  • Enter and leave the classroom as quietly as possible.
  • Do not converse with the students, teacher, and/or instructional assistants during the visitation.
  • Do not interfere with any school activity during the visitation.

 

DELIVERIES TO STUDENTS:

  • Class Interruptions: District policy prohibits the interruption of class instruction and the delivery of messages or articles to students except in the case of genuine emergencies. Food, drinks, flowers, balloons, gifts, money, valuables, and other items will not be accepted for delivery to students, and students are expected to arrive at school prepared for the school day with school supplies and their lunch or lunch money.
  • Deliveries: No deliveries may be accepted by students at the front door, with no exceptions. Contact with or deliveries to students may be from parents or authorized adults only and be processed through the Admissions Office. Unauthorized deliveries to students will be refused.

Comida, bebidas, flores, globos, regalos, dinero, objetos de valor, y otros elementos no serán aceptados para la entrega a los estudiantes, y los estudiantes deben llegar a la escuela preparado para el día de la escuela con útiles escolares y su almuerzo o dinero para el almuerzo.
  • Entregas: Entregas no pueden ser aceptadas por los estudiantes en la puerta principal, sin excepciones.
