School Breakfasts and Lunches

School Breakfasts and Lunches are being distributed for the Boyle Heights community at Hollenbeck Middle School from 7:00 - 10:00 a.m. M-F.


It's grab and go, drive up or walk up. You will receive a breakfast and lunch for each child and adult. Google Maps Directions

Internet and device info

If you need a Wi-Fi Hotspot, the district has a limited number that they are providing for students that really need them. We also have Chromebooks for students who never got one or whose Chromebook is not working.

Please go to the LAUSD Device Request page and use access code lausd2020 to request a Chromebook or Wi-fi Hotspot. You can also email Ms. Powell if you want to request a Wi-Fi Hotspot and she will submit order to district and let you know when the Hotspot has arrived for pickup.

You can also call (323) 780-6680 and leave a message with your name, date of birth, and if you need a Chromebook, internet hotspot or both.

Spectrum internet: Spectrum continues to offer Spectrum Internet Assist, a high-speed broadband program to eligible low-income households.

Comcast/Xfinity Internet Essentials:

The website includes the option to video chat with customer service agents in American Sign Language.

Free use of Xfinity hotspots:

Here is a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots.


Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of
available hotspots, and then launch a browser.

    MyMail accounts are provisioned through Google and enable students to customize access to Google tools, including Google Docs, Classrooms, Forms, Drawing, YouTube and others.

    To access go to Google.com and log in with an LAUSD MyMail account.

    Microsoft Office 365

    LAUSD students can access the full range of Microsoft Office productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

    Just go to portal.office.com and log in using your LAUSD MyMail account.
